Basic to Advance Photography Training

Overview

This course is designed for those photography enthusiasts who are looking forward to making their career as a professional photographer. We are pretty sure that this training will help them to work professionally after the completion of this rigorous training. 

This training enables students to learn these few basics:

 Line ­– Can be vertical, horizontal, curved or jagged. Examples: roads, sunsets, bridges.

 Shape ­– Two-dimensional representation of objects. Examples: silhouetted photographs of birds.

 Form – Three-dimensional representation of objects, usually through the use of lighting and shadows.

 Texture – The use of lighting to bring out details of an object, making it easy to see whether a surface is smooth or soft.

 Pattern – The use of repetition to create an interesting photo. Examples: photos of gardens or flowers.

 Color – Using warm or cool colors to set a mood.

 Space – Either negative or positive space can be used to make a statement. Often seen when using the rule of thirds.

 

At the beginning of the module, its aims and key concepts will be outlined to all students. Sessions will then be organized in three blocks of projects across the year, passing student groups through a program of photography technique workshops in digital and analog traditions that then serve the program of projects across the year.

 

The program of photography technique workshops will demonstrate and induct in the complex operations of both digital and analog cameras and darkroom techniques.

 

Sessions will be also spent on learning skills in the post-production of complex digital images using photo-editing software, as well as in the printing and finishing of photographic prints and in the organized tagging and archiving of digital images.

At the beginning of the module, its aims and key concepts will be outlined to all students. Afterward, there will be sessions on the application of different processes in the service of mastering methods of inquiry and processes in photography.

A series of sessions will then be used to test mastery of the operation of digital and analog cameras.

In parallel, time will be assigned to each student to acquire excellence in the post-production of images quickly and accurately using the complex aspects of photo-editing software, before perfecting the finishing of printing complex digital and analog photographic prints.

Some sessions will be dedicated to each student creating and compiling image and text content for the publication of a website featuring their photographs with a link to the student’s employment Curriculum Vitae.

At the beginning of the module, its aims, key concepts, and milestones will be outlined to all students. There will then be teamwork sessions and guided independent study on the organization of display resources either for display in a hard copy publication or for display in an exhibition in a public space.

Several sessions will be assigned to the use of marketing and social media in creating an audience for publication or exhibition.

Tuition will be dedicated to each student creating, updating and uploading image and text content for the publication of their own website featuring their photography with a link to the student’s updated employment Curriculum Vitae.

 

At the beginning of the module, its aims, key concepts, and milestones will be outlined to all students. In the second session, students will establish a working code of ethics for the group – ascertaining and publishing their own conduct towards clients, models, agents and other fashion photographers.

 

There will then be teamwork sessions and guided independent study tasks on the development of a business or marketing plan.

Several sessions will be assigned to the use of marketing and social media in creating an audience for publication or exhibition.

Tuition will be dedicated to each student creating, updating and uploading image and text content for the publication of their own website featuring their photography with a link to the student’s updated employment Curriculum Vitae.

The module is organized around a combination of practical photography skills and the development of historical and theoretical knowledge of the origins and development of documentary and photojournalistic practices. The module engages with contemporary photojournalistic trends and practices, including ethical and legal constraints on the practices of documentary photographers and photojournalists. The module encourages students to actively pursue engagement with areas of social experience through the medium of photography and empowers students to adopt a critical and reflective stance towards their own creative work and that of other photographers.

 

Note: This training is based on the syllabus of London Metropolitan University and it will be updated regularly. And we also assist them to work for the wedding management and wedding photography and videography companies after the completion of this training.
